Quorum and majorities at the owners' meeting in Spain
If, on first call, the majority of owners representing the majority of the participation quotas do not attend, a second call is held without any quorum. The general rule for other decisions is the vote of the majority of all owners who also represent the majority of the quotas. On second call, decisions are valid if adopted by a majority of those attending, provided it also represents more than half of the value of the quotas of those present.
What the law says

What this means in practice
The second call meets at the place, day and hour in the first notice and may be held the same day after half an hour; otherwise a new meeting is called within eight calendar days, with at least three days' notice. "Doble mayoría" is a common name for the pattern, not a statutory term. Some decisions need unanimity, three fifths or other majorities set elsewhere in the same law.
Where Unitify fits
Unitify records how each owner votes and shows participation (units voted out of the units invited) and the result. Whether a meeting has a quorum and a decision passes is decided by the law above and your own rules; the record helps you check it.
