What this means in practice

Each owner has one vote; an owner of several flats has votes matching the number of flats. A decision binds every member, including those who did not vote. Some decisions need more: unanimity for development that materially changes the common property, and two thirds for extra development levies and for electing the chairperson.

Where Unitify fits

Unitify records how each owner votes and shows participation (units voted out of the units invited) and the result. Whether a meeting has a quorum and a decision passes is decided by the law above and your own rules; the record helps you check it.
