Quorum and majorities at the owners' meeting in Saudi Arabia
Resolutions of the general assembly are valid if approved by owners whose ownership represents at least three quarters of the total area of the subdivided units, unless the by-laws set a higher ratio. If one owner's share exceeds half, that owner's votes are reduced to half.
What the law says
Last verified:

This is an approval threshold measured against the whole building's area, not a majority of those present and not a headcount. The quorum for a valid meeting is not in the law: the by-laws set the convening procedure and the quorum, and the by-laws are approved by the Real Estate General Authority (REGA).
Where Unitify fits
Unitify records how each owner votes and shows participation (units voted out of the units invited) and the result. Whether a meeting has a quorum and a decision passes is decided by the law above and your own rules; the record helps you check it.
