Notice period for the owners' meeting in Slovenia

Short answer

An owners' assembly is called by written invitation at least 14 days before the assembly. The manager puts the invitation in each owner's letterbox in the building and posts it on the noticeboard or another place accessible to all owners. On the request of an owner who does not live in the building, the manager sends the invitation by e-mail.

Zbor lastnikov se skliče s pisnim vabilom vsaj 14 dni pred zborom. Vabilo pusti upravnik vsakemu etažnemu lastniku v hišnem predalčniku posameznega etažnega lastnika in objavi na oglasni deski ali na mestu, dostopnem vsem etažnim lastnikom. Na zahtevo etažnega lastnika, ki v večstanovanjski stavbi ne prebiva, mu upravnik vabilo pošlje po elektronski pošti.

What this means in practice

The invitation must contain in particular the day and hour of the assembly, the planned agenda and the proposed resolutions. The manager must call and hold an assembly at least once a year; owners holding at least one fifth of the co-ownership shares, or the supervisory board, can also call one.
