What this means in practice

Owners are notified personally, by posting the notice in a visible place at the entrance, or by leaving it, where possible, inside each unit. The administrator, the supervisory committee, owners representing 20, 15 or 10 per cent (depending on the size of the building, with the notice accredited before the Procuraduría Social) or the Procuraduría itself in listed cases can convene. For urgent extraordinary assemblies the notice is given with the advance the circumstances require. Owners in arrears cannot convene. This page covers Mexico City only; other states have their own laws.

General information, not legal advice. Check with a lawyer in Mexico City before relying on it, and read your building's own documents: they can change how a rule applies.
