What this means in practice

Arizona allows electronic delivery of ballots; its condominium and planned-community sections do not describe an internet voting system of the kind Florida regulates. Ballots delivered this way are valid for establishing a quorum. A ballot is valid for one specified election or meeting, must allow at least seven days from delivery of the unvoted ballot, and may not authorize another person to vote. Ballots and related materials must be kept and open to owner inspection for at least one year. The condominium section accepts an actual or electronic signature; the planned-community section says only signature, a difference this page does not resolve.

General information, not legal advice. Check with a lawyer in Arizona before relying on it, and read your building's own documents: they can change how a rule applies.

Where Unitify fits

Unitify records votes and keeps the result. It does not run video meetings of its own and does not by itself satisfy an identification or signature rule of your law. Whether a vote taken this way counts depends on the law above and on your own rules.
