What Guatemalan desarrolladoras ask
Can a desarrolladora set up the regime for a building it is constructing?
Yes. The Civil Code lets the regime arise when one or more persons construct a building for that purpose (art. 529). Propiedad horizontal is registered as separate fincas, one per floor or unit, and the first registration must carry the plans of the building and of each unit (art. 1195).
What can be connected to the resident app?
Intercoms, access controllers, cameras, meters, barriers with plate recognition and lift access, as long as the device exposes an API, SIP, ONVIF or a Modbus or M-Bus gateway. We connect it under the project.
Will residents use one app for the door and the cuota?
Yes, once the intercom or access controller is connected under the project: the resident app shows the door functions next to the unit’s charges and balance.
Does the platform work through a Guatemalan bank?
There is no integration with Guatemalan banks. Owners pay the way they already do, and each payment is recorded against the right unit.
What about equipment that is already on site?
We check the exact model before you commit. Equipment with an integration interface can be connected; equipment without one cannot.
