Questions from Bolivian constructoras
What does the Civil Code ask of a building sold by pisos and compartimientos?
No building under propiedad horizontal may be built or used for that purpose without prior municipal authorisation (art. 200), and registering a right over a unit requires a plan of the building showing it, which is kept at the Derechos Reales office (art. 199).
Which devices can be linked to the resident app?
Intercoms, access controllers, cameras, meters, barriers with plate recognition and lift access, provided each one exposes an API, SIP, ONVIF or a Modbus or M-Bus gateway. The connection is done under the project.
Can owners see their expensas in the same app that opens the door?
Yes. When the intercom or access system is connected under the project, the resident app shows both the door functions and the unit’s charges and balance.
Is there a link to a Bolivian bank for collecting expensas?
There is no integration with Bolivian banks. Copropietarios pay the way they already do, and each payment is recorded against the right unit.
Does equipment we already installed have to go?
Only if it has no integration interface. We check the exact model before you commit; a device without an interface cannot be connected.
