Gate, intercom and maintenance systems for housing projects in India

For builders and for societies taking over a project: Unitify connects video intercoms, access controllers, boom barriers, cameras and meters that expose an API, SIP, ONVIF, Modbus or M-Bus interface under the project, and keeps flat-wise maintenance balances in the same system.

Built around the words of an Indian society

Society, RWA, AOA, managing committee, flat-wise maintenance: the platform uses the language a builder’s team and a society treasurer already share when a project passes to its residents.

How members pay today

Members keep paying the society as they do now and Unitify records the payment; there is no UPI integration.

UPI

The instant payment system members already use from their banking and payment apps. They can keep paying society maintenance this way; the payment is recorded against the right flat.

Bank transfer

Transfers to the society’s bank account. Members pay as before and the payment is recorded against the right flat.

The hardware layer, wired into your platform

Intercom, access, video, meters and EV charging connect through mini apps, alongside your requests and billing.

Digital intercom

Calls go straight to the resident’s phone. Entry by app, BLE tag or face.

Access control

Contactless entry by phone or tag. Vehicle access by plate recognition.

Video surveillance

Live cameras, digital archives and plate recognition at the gate.

Meter telemetry

Readings come from residents in the app, from a file or over the API from your metering system. Smart meters that expose an interface are connected under the project.

EV charging

Stations on the map, sessions booked, billed and tracked in the app.

Building management

Ventilation, heating, lifts and other systems monitored from one dashboard, with instant alerts.

Devices, orchestrator, resident app

1

Devices

Intercoms, access control, cameras, meters, EV chargers and building systems, from any vendor.

2

Orchestrator

Unitify connects every device to one dashboard. New hardware plugs in as a mini app, nothing gets replaced.

3

Resident app

One app for doors, meters, intercom calls and charging. No fifth login to remember.

Questions from builders and society committees

Can the gate and visitor-entry hardware of a new project be connected?

Yes, where the panel, controller, boom barrier, camera or meter exposes an integration interface: an API, SIP, ONVIF or a Modbus or M-Bus gateway. It is connected to the resident app under the project, after we check the exact model.

What happens to the maintenance ledger when the builder hands over to the society?

The flat-wise balances stay in Unitify, so the society’s managing committee starts from the same ledger the builder’s team kept.

Can tenants and family members use the resident app?

The committee registers who lives in each flat. Each registered resident gets notices, charges and requests in the app; the maintenance balance stays with the flat.

Is UPI built into the platform?

There is no UPI integration. Members pay as they do today and each payment is recorded against the right flat.

Which hardware cannot be connected?

Anything without an open interface. Closed panels or controllers with no API, SIP, ONVIF or Modbus/M-Bus gateway stay standalone, and we tell you before the project starts.
