Unitify

Smart building systems and a resident app for developers of apartments and estates in Ghana

Unitify links video intercoms, access control, barriers, cameras and meters to one resident app and keeps the service charge per unit in the same system. Equipment with an API, SIP, ONVIF or Modbus/M-Bus interface is connected under the project.

Built for blocks and gated estates in Ghana

A developer builds, a property manager runs, a management committee of owners may take over — one system for the units, the service charge and the gate.

How owners pay today

Owners keep paying as they do now and Unitify records each payment against the right unit; MTN Mobile Money is not integrated with Unitify.

MTN Mobile Money

Mobile money on the MTN network, used for transfers and bill payments from a phone. Owners can keep paying with it; Unitify records the payment against the right unit.

The hardware layer, wired into your platform

Intercom, access, video, meters and EV charging connect through mini apps, alongside your requests and billing.

Digital intercom

Calls go straight to the resident’s phone. Entry by app, BLE tag or face.

Access control

Contactless entry by phone or tag. Vehicle access by plate recognition.

Video surveillance

Live cameras, digital archives and plate recognition at the gate.

Meter telemetry

Readings come from residents in the app, from a file or over the API from your metering system. Smart meters that expose an interface are connected under the project.

EV charging

Stations on the map, sessions booked, billed and tracked in the app.

Building management

Ventilation, heating, lifts and other systems monitored from one dashboard, with instant alerts.

Devices, orchestrator, resident app

1

Devices

Intercoms, access control, cameras, meters, EV chargers and building systems, from any vendor.

2

Orchestrator

Unitify connects every device to one dashboard. New hardware plugs in as a mini app, nothing gets replaced.

3

Resident app

One app for doors, meters, intercom calls and charging. No fifth login to remember.

Developer questions about blocks and estates in Ghana

We hand units over in phases. Can the system grow with the estate?

Yes. Units are added as they are handed over, and each one carries its own balance and owner details from the first charge.

What does Unitify run for the property manager?

A balance per unit, payments recorded against each unit, reminders, the charge sent to the resident app, notices and a log of resident requests.

Is Unitify linked to MTN Mobile Money?

No, there is no integration. Owners pay as they do today; Unitify records each payment against the right unit.

Can you connect the estate gate barrier and intercoms we already have?

Usually yes. If the barrier controller, intercom panel, camera or meter exposes an API, SIP, ONVIF or a Modbus or M-Bus gateway, we connect it to the resident app under the project. Hardware with no interface cannot be connected, and we check the exact model before you commit.

Does the service charge sit in the same system as the gate and intercoms?

Yes. The balance per unit and the connected intercoms, access control and cameras sit in one system, and residents use one resident app for both.
