We’re entering a moment where building software no longer requires years of development experience. Today, a motivated person with a strong idea can vibe-code a working application in a single evening. That changes expectations for software – and what digital systems themselves can become.
Instead of thinking about Unitify as a fixed product, we built it as a platform that can continuously expand through MiniApps – small modules that add new services, workflows, automations, and resident experiences on top of the core system. Similar to WeChat mini-programs or Telegram Mini Apps – but for buildings.
MiniApps can work directly inside the resident app and the management dashboard.
Some Unitify examples already live or in development:
• Booking MiniApps for tennis courts, saunas, meeting rooms, BBQ areas, and other shared amenities (live)
• Guest Pass MiniApps for security and automated access (live)
• Smart Building MiniApps for gates, EV chargers, intercoms, cameras, and smart locks (live)
• E-voting MiniApps for homeowner meetings (in development)
• Investor Dashboard MiniApps showing occupancy, rental income, expenses, and yield in real time (in development)
For property management companies, this means the platform can adapt to different property types, business models, and resident expectations – without waiting for a vendor to redesign the entire product.
And MiniApps are not only about convenience. They also create new revenue and operational opportunities for property managers:
• paid amenity booking
• EV charging monetization
• premium resident services
• partner integrations
• automation that reduces manual operational work and operating costs
Honestly, it just makes sense. Residents already have enough apps on their phones. They don’t want separate platforms for access, payments, bookings, communication, and services from the same management company. It’s natural to expect all of this to work as one seamless experience, not as a collection of disconnected apps.
Long term, the goal is to make MiniApps dramatically easier to create. Describe the workflow – generate the MiniApp. Because buildings are no longer just physical spaces. They are gradually becoming connected digital environments where new smart functions can continuously be added to the same ecosystem.
