Azerbaijan: first 1,000 units — and first $1,000 payments in 24 hours

We've opened a new country. Unitify has arrived in Azerbaijan — and the first building to speak the same language as its property management company is Avant Park, a residential complex.

The first 1,000 units came online. And then the thing we built all of this for happened: in the first 24 hours, 300 residents downloaded the app, and more than $1,000 in first payments flowed through it to the property management company.

Why these numbers are more than numbers

A thousand dollars and three hundred downloads look modest — right up until you understand what sits behind them.

300 downloads in a day isn't the top of a marketing funnel or a list of "potential users." These are residents who opened the app themselves, on day one, with no drawn-out onboarding and no convincing. And that first $1,000 isn't a one-off promo. It's real payments, routed straight to the property management company through the platform.

In other words, the model didn't work on a slide — it worked in a live building, from the first day it went online. Residents pay, the management company gets both the money and a direct channel to its residents, and recurring revenue starts flowing on day one — at exactly the moment when most buildings are still drowning in paper invoices and front-desk calls.

Digital property management — in practice

Usually, once a building is handed over, silence sets in: the developer leaves, residents are left one-on-one with a management company, and the entire relationship shrinks down to an invoice in the mailbox.

Unitify closes that gap. We give a building a ready-made digital management company out of the box: residents get an app for payments, requests, and communication, while the management company gets recurring revenue and predictable LTV from month one — not "someday." Avant Park showed how fast this switches on when the infrastructure is already built and only waiting for residents to arrive.

Who made the launch possible

You can't enter a new country alone. Our local payments partner for the launch was YIĞIM Payment Services — their infrastructure is what let those first payments go through smoothly from day one. Without them whom this start wouldn't have happened.

This is only the beginning

A thousand units is one building. Our ambition is bigger: to change how residential buildings are managed across the entire country — making management transparent for residents and profitable for the people responsible for it.

A good start. And we hope it's the first of many.
